General Instructions:
Materials you will need:
Background fabric Fabric
scraps or appliqués
Double-sided heat-adhesive paper (you can also use flixelin paper and use glue to stick the fabric scraps to the paper.
Iron
Fabric scissors
Sewing machine or needle and thread
Pattern or printed design from StyleinEveryPattern
Pencil or pen (if needed to mark the design onto the background fabric)
Step 1: Design and Preparation
1.1. Select the pattern you would like to apply to your project.
1.2. Print the design onto the double-sided iron-on paper.
Step 2: Cut Out the Pieces
2.1. Cut out the design pieces from the double-sided iron-on paper following the design lines. Leave a small margin around each shape so you can easily remove the backing paper later.
Step 3: Applying the Double-Sided Iron-On Paper
3.1. Place the pieces of double-sided iron-on paper over the fabric scraps or appliqués you will be using.
3.2. Iron over the double-sided iron-on paper following the manufacturer's instructions. This will activate the adhesive and secure the fabric shapes in place.
Step 4: Cut Out the Fabric Shapes
4.1. Carefully cut out the fabric shapes along the edge of the double-sided iron-on paper.
Step 5: Placement on the Background Fabric
